Amazonite is a captivating gemstone known for its soothing shades of turquoise-green to blue-green, often with white streaks or and iron inclusions. It’s a variety of microcline feldspar, and despite its name, it is not actually from the Amazon River, though it was once believed to be.

Color: Blue-green, green, sometimes with white streaks; color is due to lead and water in the feldspar structure
