Chemical Formula: Primarily Amethyst (SiO₂), with inclusions of up to 23 other minerals such as: Hematite, Goethite, Pyrite, Cacoxenite, Rutile, Lepidocrocite, Magnetite and others
Color: Deep purple to reddish hues, often with chevron patterns or inclusions
Hardness: 7 on the Mohs scale
