Blue Aventurine is a captivating and relatively rare variety of aventurine, known for its soft, shimmering blue hue and subtle sparkle. Like its more common green counterpart, blue aventurine is a form of quartz, but its unique coloration comes from mineral inclusions—typically dumortierite or other blue-hued minerals.

Origin: Bahia and Minas Gerais – Brazil
Chemical Formula: SiO₂ (Silicon Dioxide)
Color: Light to deep blue with a sparkly or metallic shimmer (aventurescence)
Hardness: 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale
